1. Who we are
Esteeva Ltd (company number 07030121, registered in England & Wales, registered office 124 City Road, EC1V 2NX, United Kingdom) is the data controller responsible for the personal data described in this policy. You can reach us at contact@esteeva.com.
2. What data we collect
- Information you send us by email. If you contact us at an @esteeva.com address, we receive your email address, your name (if provided), and the content of your message.
- Technical server logs. Our hosting provider (GitHub Pages) and our domain/DNS provider may automatically log technical data such as your IP address and browser type for security and to deliver the website. We do not control or combine these logs for our own purposes.
This website does not use tracking or advertising cookies and does not run analytics.
3. Why we use it and legal basis
- To respond to your enquiry — legal basis: our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) UK GDPR), or steps taken at your request prior to entering a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) UK GDPR).
- To keep the website secure and available — legal basis: our legitimate interest in the proper operation and security of the site.
4. How long we keep it
We keep email correspondence only for as long as needed to handle your request and for any follow-up, after which it is deleted or archived in line with our normal business practice. Server logs are retained by our providers according to their own retention periods.
5. Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal data. We rely on the following processors to operate the website and our email: our website host (GitHub, Inc.) and our domain, DNS and email provider (Combell NV). These providers process data on our behalf or as independent controllers for their own infrastructure. Where data is transferred outside the United Kingdom (e.g. to GitHub in the United States), appropriate safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement, or the UK Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses, apply.
6. Your rights
Under the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018 you have the right to:
- access the personal data we hold about you;
- have inaccurate data corrected;
- have your data erased;
- restrict or object to our processing;
- data portability, where applicable.
To exercise any of these rights, email contact@esteeva.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO, ico.org.uk).
7. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date above shows when it was last revised.
